Panama's eye-catching stand at FITUR

The pavilion of Panama at the FITUR fair is quite a spectacle. It is located rightat the entrance to the Americas section and takes up 236 square meters, making it one of the attractions of this fair. The ample stand allows the twenty companies participating as part of the Panamanian delegation to best promote their products.

The pavilion features a private meeting room and a stage for dancers to perform traditional pollera, tamborito, and Afro-Caribbean dances.

Atop an additional 36-square level that recreates the balconies of the capital's Old Town district, fair visitors are served cocktails of Panamanian rum mixed with tropical juices.

Popcorn and souvenir prints of photographed Panamanian landscapes are other attractions of the pavilion at the fair. Visitor to the stand are initially greeted by ATP Marketing Department staff who are promoting the new country brand "Panama The Way".

Panama's stand is a fun but busy site, as the Vice Minister of Tourism has held meetings there with dozens of journalists from all over Europe.
