Nine coffee purchasers from Taiwan arrived in Boquete, province of Chiriquí, in search of the best beans grown in these lands.

Among them is the Panamanian geisha, considered one of the best coffees in the world. In international markets, up to $50 is paid for one pound of unroasted Geisha coffee beans.

In two weeks, the National Environmental Authority (ANAM) looks to approve the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the convention center that will be built along the Amador Causeway.
The ITB Berlin Fair is one of the world's most important travel trade shows this season. The Panama Tourism Authority and 15 representatives of the private sector are participating in the event alongside 11,000 other exhibitors from 180 countries, and will be visited by some 165,000 people over the four days of the fair.
“The actresses Geraldine Chaplin and Maribel Verdú are confirmed,” Pituka Ortega, director of the Panama International Film Festival, announced to the media group AFP. The event will be held from April 11 to 17 with the screening of 60 films from 35 countries.
