At the port of Colón, a large group of tourists disembarked from the Celebrity Millennium cruise ship. They had come to learn about Panama, and many took advantage of the Interoceanic Railway tours to visit Gatún Lake and several other places.

The group that we accompanied went to visit the canal, and we spent over an hour in the Miraflores Locks Visitors Center. From there we went to the Old Panama ruins, where the group learned a little about Panama's colonial history. We then returned to board the cruise again at Colón.
