Pedasi

Pedasi is one of the divisions that constitues the province of Los Santos. It is located in the southeast and has an imposing geography formed by plains and vast beaches such as El Arenal, El Toro, La Garita, Los Destiladeros, Venao Beach, Canas Island, Iguana Island and Cerro Hoya National Park, among others.

One of its main attractions is Iguana Island, which was declared a Natural Reserve for its white sand beaches and ecosystem diversity that give it a magical quality.

Pedasi has restaurants, hotels, bars, nightlife, beautiful views and unforgettable tours. You can practice different sports and recreational activities on its beautiful beaches, or simply choose resting spots among the native flora and fauna.

¿Getting there?

  • Airplane: Flights depart from Albrook in Panama City at 12:30 p.m. and land in Pedasi at 1:30 p.m. Return flights leave Pedasi at 1:41 p.m. to arrive at Albrook in Panama City at 2:36 p.m.
  • Bus: Take a bus from the Albrook bus terminal that is bound for Las Tablas or Pedasi.
  • Car: Take the Centennial Bridge or Bridge of the Americas heading west towards the beaches and the countryside. After passing reference points such as Coronado, Penonomé and Aguadulce, you will arrive at the DIVISA overpass, from where you turn right towards the south (Chitre). After about 40 minutes, follow the road until you reach Las Tablas, which should take approximately an hour. On arriving at the town of Las Tablas, take a left on the main road at the gas station, and in another 40 minutes you will arrive at Pedasi.
