Red Frog

Red Frog is one of the most popular beaches of Bocas del Toro, as it combines attractions that make it very special. The name of 'Red Frog' comes from the red-colored poisonous frogs, whose scientific name is Dendrobates pumilio, which inhabit the tropical forests surrounding the beach.

Besides the red frog, it is possible to observe sloths in the trees and various exotic birds. Given the beach's geographic layout, Red Frog is ideal for surfing the waves, which can reach four meters high, from December to March. At Red Frog you will find restaurants and bars, as well as hotels if you wish to spend the night.
