A stroll across the island will take you through various musical ambiences that invite you to stop at one of the restaurants or bars. On one end of the island you can ascend to the lighthouse and take in a spectacular view. Or you can cross to the other side on a trail that may seem longer than it really is because of the hot weather.
Another option is to hire a boatman to give you a tour of the mangroves of the area, being sure to make a stop at Mamey Island before returning to the main island. If you'd like to dive or snorkel, bring along your gear and plenty of drinking water. The boatman can drop you off at Mamey Island and then pick you up after your dive and bring you back to Isla Grande.
