Panama looks to attract Brazilian tourists, says Shamah

"The Tourism Authority is now focused on the process of promoting and finalizing agreements with Brazilian operators, with the idea of capturing the great tourist potential of this South-American country."

Thus underscored the administrator of Panama Tourism, Salomón Shamah, when he defended the institution's budget for fiscal year 2013, for a sum of $47.6 million dollars, in front of the National Assembly.

Shamah highlighted that $28.1 million of the investment budget will be allocated for publicity about Panama everywhere they have direct flights, such as Spain, Holland and major cities in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
