We Continue Growing In The World Tourism Day

In this Sept. 27th, at the World Tourism Day we receive statistics, that show that the number of visitors grows from January to August by 6.4%

This is good news in an important day for Panamanians who have received 1,390, 559 visitors in that period. This represents 83, 723 additional visitors.

Tourism is increasingly important and as our awareness campaign says You Are The Best. We should be proud that at Tocumen Airport, we are close to one million entries. 999.651 visitors with an increase of two digits: 16.7%.

Another reason to rejoice in the day when the world celebrates tourism is that the foreign exchange receipts from tourism to our economy reach the vast figure of B / 1.491. million with a spectacular growth rate of 19%. This gives us an indication that our tourism is the most productive in the region, which is well under way, that the strategies of the Panama Tourism Authority,the private company are very effective.

And before saying goodbye , we have to highlight that we have just bid for the construction and equipping of a new convention center to be built in Amador. This is a historical fact.
