Recipe: Rice with pineapple drink
1/2 lb. rice (1 cup)
Peels of 1 pineapple
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Sugar to taste
Rinse well the rice and let soak overnight. The next day, boil in plenty of water until the grain is fully swollen. Add the thoroughly cleaned pineapple peels while the rice is cooking. If desired, blend in a blender, then add the sugar, milk, ice and nutmeg.
