Panama Canal' collection

Animal prints in bright colors, alluding to the Afro-Caribbean culture, as well as linen, lace, denim, chiffon and silk were the fabrics used by students from the Ganexa University of Arts at Panama Fashion Week, inspired by the eighth wonder of the modern world, the Panama Canal.

"Panama Canal" is the name of the collection, comprised of 30 dresses, which were accessorized by French headdresses, Panamanian hats and Afro-Caribbean turbans.

The future designers used a range of colors to set off their designs, including brown, beige, yellow, army green, fuchsia, ivory, black, camel and red.
