The provincial governor stated that the public institutions of the district had the duty of joining the folkloric parade.

Elementary and high school marching bands also participated.

Like any provincial festival, there were queens elected from each local area: Loret Rodríguez, from the township of San Juan Bautista; Vanessa Almanza, from Chitré; Sindy de León, from Llano Bonito; Kiara Jackeline Pérez, from La Arena, and Roselin Rodríguez, from Monagrillo.
