With the aim of strengthening diplomatic ties between Panama and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the deputy minister of Foreign Relations, Francisco Álvarez De Soto, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom with responsibility for Latin America, Hugo Swire, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries in Bolivar Palace.
