Sun, Beach and the Sea Festival

The second Sea Festival on the island of Taboga was a complete success. The festivities on Sunday, January 27, began at 10:00 in the morning by greeting event sponsor Emilio Regueira from the Rabanes with a reception and an allegorical murga, calling both locals and foreign participants to "Join In" and walk together from the dock to the plaza.

Meanwhile, the children enjoyed the game area on Restinga Beach and a treasure hunt with a pirate around the town of Taboga. The Food Festival began at 11 a.m., and at 12 p.m. the contest winner of the best ceviche in Panama was announced at the Church Plaza.

After the folk performances and DJ'd music, a concert by Emilio Regueira of Rabanes took place on the Tropical Central Stage. The grand 2013 Taboga Island Sea Festival culminated with a raffle of great prizes and a farewell party for Miss Sea Festival.
