Premiere of new airport in Pedasí
Residents of the district of Pedasí in Los Santos expressed yesterday that their newly constructed airport will help to increase the arrival of tourists who wish to visit the region's attractive islands and beaches.

 

Last Sunday, the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) inaugurated the new airfield in Pedasí, which had required an investment of $1.026 million. Its circular runway stretches one thousand meters long and 15 meters wide. Additional facilities include a boarding platform, passenger terminal and access road.

The latest statistics from the AAC reveal that in recent weeks 600 tourists have traveled by plane.
