The most numerous groups of attendees will be stay in such hotels as Playa Bonita, Westin Playa Bonita, Riu, Riande Continental, Decapolis and Central Park. The largest delegations are coming from Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica and the United States.
Parallel to attending the IX World Congress and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Worldwide Missionary Movement, the attendees have scheduled tours and purchased packages to visit the Panama Canal, Panama Bay, Old Panama, Old Town, the Coastal Strip and shopping at Albrook Mall, Metro Mall and Colon Duty Free Zone.
More than 5,000 national and international missionaries are expected to attend the IX World Congress, and they will spend a minimum of 7 nights in the biggest hotels of Panama City.
This is the fourth World Congress to be held in Panama, after the first in 1997, then 2002, 2007 and now in 2013. The religious services will be held from 9:00 in the morning until 1:30 in the afternoon, and from 6:30 in the evening until 9:30 at night.
