Panama is currently investing in the organization of such conferences and conventions to make the most of its now abundant supply of hotels. While just a few years ago there were not enough hotels available, the newly constructed hotels now face another challenge: to reach maximum occupancy levels.

TOURISM EXPO 2013 takes advantage of Panama's privileged location, which combined with its air, land and sea connectivity make the country an important business destination and the preferred option of international convention organizers.
