David International Fair inaugurated

At the inauguration of the International David Fair, the Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli was the guest of honor, alongside his Costa Rican counterpart, Laura Chinchilla.

As part of the opening ceremony, the Governor of Chiriquí was given a symbolic ID card to announce that the first steps have already been taken towards allowing Panamanians to enter Costa Rica without having to carry a passport.

Ricardo Martinelli also revealed that an allocation would be made to the David Fair in order to purchase the adjacent plot of land and thus expand the fairgrounds.
