The climate of the majestic Volcán Barú

One of the two volcanoes in the country, the Volcán Barú offers visitors the opportunity to climb to its top and spend the night in the extensive valley formed by its crater.  The volcano is not extinct.  However, it is inactive and has been for centuries.  The steep slopes of the high mountain are  ideal for activities such as trekking and hiking, or walking through the narrow paths of nature and rocks, given they are covered by an exuberant humid forest, with gigantic threes covered by moss and liquens. During the walk upward, a little more than four hours, you have the opportunity to observe unique  bird species, such as the beautiful quetzal.  The near villages are very picturesque, and the satisfactory temperature, as well as the exquisite mountain landscape, form the perfect scenery tor the activity.

Los poblados aledaños al volcán son muy pintorescos, y su agradable temperatura, así como el exquisito paisaje de montaña, forman un escenario perfecto para la actividad.
