Condor Will Incorporate a New Flight Frequency on Its Route to Panama

Representatives of the German Condor Airlines have confirmed that the airline is planning to add an additional flight frequency between Frankfurt and Tocumen International Airport during the first half of 2012.

Ernesto Orillac, Vice Minister of the Tourism Authority of Panama, reported that the agency will sign an agreement with Condor Airlines with the purpose to increase the promotion of Panama tour destinations among the German market.

Orillac stated that ‘the flights registrar indicates high occupancy, but the majority of passengers are in transit. However, what we are looking for is to have them stay in the country.’

The Tourism Authority of Panama has affirmed that the number of European visitors in Panama has marked an 11 percent increment from January through August, which totals 88.842 people.

In addition to the European market, the arrival of Aeroméxico Airline in Panama is expected, and an Asian airline is yet to be confirmed.
