In order to develop the tourist areas of La Chorrera, a meeting will be held this Saturday morning, which seeks to completely clean up the Caimito River’s drainage basin, central point of the famous Chorro of La Chorrera.
The ambitious project also seeks to create a system which, at the same time, can be complemented with sports, historical, and cultural areas for the benefit of future generations.
The movement goes hand in hand with the process of creating the tenth province, which is virtually a fact, according to Camilo Olmedo, President of the Foundation for the Integral Development of La Chorrera.
Among all these activities, other touristic areas are also contemplated to be built in order to
attract more visitors and, consequently, enhance the local economy.
