Regarding the shows, visitors will be able to experience the traditional Culeco, main stage for big performances, and stage of remembrance as well as an additional stage for special events. Additionally, there will be a free area for families with young children.
Parades will also be taking place during the four of carnival, with colorful floats showing the Panamanian history and traditions as well as the traditional ‘popular’ troupes.
In the press conference, held at the Atlapa Convention Center’s La Huaca Theater, seven candidates will be presented, aspiring to be the Queen of the Carnival 2012. The Queen will be elected next Tuesday, January 24th at 7:00 P.M. in the Anayansi Theater. 1 queen and 2 princesses will be elected at the event.
