Thanks to an invitation extended by the French Embassy in Panama, Flora Coquerel, Miss France for Miss World 2014, is enjoying a few relaxing days in Panama. 

A true curiosity and piece of historical heritage is the altar that remains nearly intact in the colonial church of San Francisco de la Montaña in Veraguas Province, which was erected by Spaniards and Indians during the colonization of the Panamanian isthmus.

Groups from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, Finland, France, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Venezuela, and Switzerland will participate in the 6th International Festival of Performing Arts (FAE) from March 27 to April 2, 2014.

The tourism trade publication Travel & Leisure included the Biodiversity Museum on its list of must-see attractions in 2014.
