Pacific, the beauty of nature is reflected on the ocean water.
Eighth wonder, crossing of a great ship in the Miraflores Locks is a show to be admired.
All this, makes this destination one of the most unforgettable countries.
The main city is its capital, Panama city, with appearance of a great metropolis and of captivating contrasts. With a population of almost 1.3 million of inhabitants, it has a modern airport that is considered to be the hub of Americas. It has countless modern skyscrapers, a historical center, an international network of banks, sophisticated stores and magnificent hotels.
First country of Central America, from South America, Panama is globally known by one of the greatest works of the humanity's engineering, Panama Canal. With 80 km of extension, it is through it that the two oceans Atlantic and Pacific communicate and where the distances between Ocident and Extreme Orient are shortened. Difficult not to be surprised—positively—when arriving in Panama.

With 2,857 kilometers (km) of coastline, Panama has a growing tourism industry that has generated a surge in its economy over the past 10 years, even during the years 2008-2009, when the world was being hit by the global financial crisis.
