The Canadian company Sunwing will move its hotel division to Panamá, due to the touristic growth statistics in this country. This company, which conducts charter flights from Canada to Panamá, will close its hotel division that remains in Mexico and Dominic Republic in order to operate its hotel division from Panama. Sunwing is part of the TUI Company, one of the largest tour operators in the world.
Sunwing operates the Royalton Resort hotel in Panama.

The World Travel Market authorized Panamanian businessmen to network with other individuals within the tourism industry to help promote tourism to attract more visitors to Panama.
