For three days, the city of Chitré will be a stage for about 80 clowns in the Festival of Clowns.
Painted faces, big shoes and red noses will be the norm next weekend in Chitré, when the first International Clown Festival will be held in Panama. At least that's the proposal, according to Moisés Guerrero, from the Cultural Embassy in the City Hall of Chitré in Herrera.
"We will begin with a caravan at 10:00 am from the restaurant Frosties," said Guerrero.
