With the 5 million cubic yards of concrete that are utilized in the construction of the third set of locks in the widening of the Panama Canal, 40 towers could be built similar to the Trump Ocean —the same that overlooks the bay. With dimensions of 458 feet along each chamber of locks, it can facilely fit the Sears Tower, the tallest building in the United States.

The Canadian company Sunwing will move its hotel division to Panamá, due to the touristic growth statistics in this country. This company, which conducts charter flights from Canada to Panamá, will close its hotel division that remains in Mexico and Dominic Republic in order to operate its hotel division from Panama. Sunwing is part of the TUI Company, one of the largest tour operators in the world.
