Bugaba produces 80 percent of the country's milk and is one of the most vibrant ranching districts, located just minutes from the city of David, Chiriquí. The district of Bugaba will host the 54th Candelaria Fair, named after their patron Catholic saint of the Virgen de la Candelaria.

Elida coffee, from the Geisha variety grown in Panama, won first place in the category of coffee at the Good Food Awards held in San Francisco, United States. The Good Food Awards honor the top products in the United States that have outstanding flavor and are produced in a way that is environmentally and socially responsibly.
The Boquete Flower and Coffee Fair exceeded the estimated number of visitors, receiving 126,971 people this year. The Chairman of the Fair Board, Reynaldo Serracín, indicated that this is the result of work by artisans, enterprises, security agencies and partners.
