More than fifteen floats adorned the streets of Los Pozos in a parade that celebrated the district's anniversary.
The region's folklore was gloriously represented in the floats that depicted the diverse agricultural activities and rural customs and traditions.
Rita Almendas, the festival queen, shone in the same beautiful red dress thatMargarita Lozano had worn as a contest participant in the Pollera Festival held in Las Tablas. Almendas declared her great pleasure at the big turn out for the town's celebration.
It is noteworthy that all of the floats and their delegations made two rounds of the parade route.
Singing groups and talented lyrical troubadours glorified the celebration and rung in the parade the night before on the main stage.
