Order given to proceed on coastal road

The Venezuelan-Panamanian consortium, comprised of the companies RPL and CSI, received the order to proceed with construction of the stretch of coastal highway on the upper coast of Colón that will connect the villages of Cuango and Santa Isabel

The company has already made headway on the Environmental Impact Assessment, so actual construction is expected to begin in April.

The contract for the $19.5 million-dollar project stipulates that the consortium has 12 months to finish, meaning that the 26-kilometer highway should be ready by this December.
