The idea for Open Festival was born from the dream of living in a Panama where its citizens are environmentally-aware, conscientious that their actions and words have a positive and concrete impact on the environment, and that they are the only ones who have the power to initiate significant changes in their society.
To make this dream become a reality, project our educational message to all Panamanians on the importance of protecting the environment for future generations, and give them practical tools to carry out positive actions every day that would reduce their individual carbon footprint, we knew we had to resort to three supremely important themes: Culture, Science, and Education.
